Papertrey Ink February 2012 Blog Hop

Hi I made a card for Papertrey Ink February 2012 Blog Hop. This month's challenge is making a interactive cards. One of my dear friend is moving to New York next week and I want to give her a card to tell her how much I enjoy her friendship and wish her all the best. I hope she likes this one.

I just got my package in this morning and I have to play with my new goodies. The Medallions background is too pretty and very easy to stamp. It really makes a eye catching BG. LOVE IT! What do you think?

Here is my card. I choose to do a tone on tone card to match the Pattern paper inside.

Inside: I use Beautiful Blooms II stamps set and coordinated die to finish the inside and as a focal point at the card front.

Have a great weekend.

Hero Arts His & Her card idea

Talented Jennifer McGuire made a card set called "His and Her" card set. A masculine and feminine card using the same supplies. I love this genius idea and want to give it a try. I happen to need some birthday cards for kids. Well, mine is kind of "cheating" I think since they are for boys and girls.

I love how Jennifer creates a window using dies on the card front and the peak out pattern paper. Super cute.

Here are the cards: I use different rectangle dies to cut the window. I also color the candies with Copic marker and add Glossy Accent in the center. Cute~What do you think?

Day 2 of Papertrey Ink 5th Anniversary

Papertrey ink is celebrating their 5th anniversary and they are have a HUGE party over Nicole's blog. There are contest and prizes. Today's challenge is to use their printable freebies to create a project. Here is my take.
Love this cute toaster and the heart toast. CUTE~ Perfect for a Valentine's day project. I decide to submit to this week's Create Blog challenge: Valentine card.

I print the image on white cardstock. Die cut the image with Papertrey Ink Mat Stack 4 die and color the image with Copic. Trim a pattern paper panel, adhere on card base and tie a ribbon. Die cut 4 blocks using Alpha-blocks die and spell LOVE using Alpha-blocks stamp set. Then add Martha Stewart glitter and glossy accent on the hearts.
Here is the close look of the glossy accent.
Have a good day.
