Hi everyone,
Long LONG time no see. First I want to apologize about my absent without notice. I’ve been taking a break and focus on family. Here I am back to share some exciting news.
First,
[We are expecting!!!!] It’s a boy. We are all very exciting to this new family member. Can’t wait to meet him in person this Summer.
This explains why I disappeared for so long. The first trimester fatigue was killing me and I couldn’t get off the bed at all. I think I spent about 20 hours in bed every day. I can’t tell you how happy I am when I past the first trimester and enter the most comfortable 2nd one.
After entering the 2nd trimester, we kept busy moving the office/craft room out and turned it into the nursery. It was easy since I have so many stuff and with all the re-arrangement.
I just want to say thank you for all your support and I am happy to know that I am missed. I will be back soon to post something about the Blog Candy. Yes, I didn’t forget. It’s sitting in the mailing box and ready to go.
Here I want to share a card I made in three months for a sweet friend’s birthday. I couldn’t decide which color tune I want so I made two. I will enter these two for Hero Arts January contest. My card is inspired by the P.58 I just in love with the neutral color. Play it with different color tune and add a bit of my own twist in them.
I pull out my favorite Dogwood stamp. First I die cut the Lacey Circle and stamp twice with distress ink on the circle. I use my stamp-a-ma-jig to line up with the circle and stamp twice on the card base with watermark ink. Then emboss with white embossing powder. Color the flowers with distress ink. Adhere the circle on the card base.Add glitter glue around the circle.
Stamp:S5362 Dogwood (Hero Arts)
Ink: Antique Linen, Scattered Straw/ Weathered Wood, Stormy Sky (Distress Ink)
Die: Lacey Circle (Spellbinders)
Tool: Stamp A-Ma-Jig
I will be back for another good news.
