Wedding cards

Got my Waltzing Mouse stamps in the mail box yesterday. Can't wait to play with them. I use Very Vintages Labels NO10 pair up with Spellbinders Label 10 dies and sentiment from Hero Arts AR141 Cherish set to make 2 wedding cards for Paper Crafts April 2011 Gallery Challenge.

First one (Sorry for a poor quality photo. The light is not my friend today. Hard to get a clear shoot.) I run a light pink card base through a Sizzix emboss folder. Adhere doily and black ribbon. Adhere die-cut black label. Die-cut white scallop circle, stamp sentiment and clear emboss. Stamp swirl and adhere on card with foam tape. Adhere gems.Pink and black what a beautiful color combo.

Second one, use the same card base and doily. Tie on ribbon. Stamp frame and sentiment on cardstock, die-cut and adhere on card with foam tape. Adhere roses.
Love the soft tune on this card. Which one do you like?

PDCC77+CASE Study35

Hi~ How is your Tuesday doing? We are going to our very first baby class, Everything about car seat,  tonight. Very excited. We are one step closer to be ready for the baby.

I have a quick post. I have two cards to share today.
This one is made for PDCC77 (I use CG290 Four Flowers and sentiment from CL483 Type from Hero Arts) I made this one using Stamp Layering Technique and for Hero Arts Sketch Challenge.

I stamped the flowers here and there on the card base and pattern paper. Also stamped on vellum and white embossed. I love the green and brown combo on the card. I add lot's of glue in the center of vellum flower and add glitters to hide the foam tape. Works perfect for me.

This one is for CASE Study#35
(Stamps are all from Hero Arts: Chair from CL480 Wish You Were Here set and Sentiment from CL335 Happy Da's Day. Background created from CG138 Ledger and CG125 Friend Definition and lots of distress ink.)

Got to get ready for the class. Have a great night. Everyone.

Hi, how is everyone's weekend going? We had a very productive one. Even thought it's not craft related, I have no complain at all. We finished some project for the baby and the extra storage shelf in the kitchen that I always wanted. Hubby even found some time to have his golf in 2011 when I spend my time if the craft room. Hope you all have a great weekend.

Just want to share a card really quick I made for WMSC43 and CTD137.

Stamp:flowers from CG290 Four Flowers and Sentiment form CL514 Life of the Party Birthday both from Hero Arts (I cut the sentiment in half to rearrange them on the acrylic block.) Pattern paper is from BasicGrey.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

PDCC76+CASE Study34

Hi, I have a quick post today. I didn't feel well today and took a long nap. I put myself together to finish these two cards because I really like the theme. Don't want to miss it. Glad I found sometime crafting today. How about you? Hope you have a wonderful day.

First one is made for PDCC76 This one is my Mother's day card for my friends. I color the flower with markers and add glossy accent in the center and the tips to match the pattern paper. Cute~ Huh? Also I use the sketch from Card Patterns Sketch 110.

Second is made for CASE Study#34 . I am very much inspired by Jean Martin's card. I love the soft color and shabby style. The frame and the butterfly is too genius. I made this one for my sister and my mom. I stamped the butterfly once in Tea Dye distress ink first and white emboss one on vellum again. Cut out and pop off with foam tape.

MIake It Monday#9: Heat Embossing

It's Make it Monday time. This week is my favorite technique: Heat Embossing. Dawn McVey has a killer tutorial video on her blog or you can find it here on Nichole Heady's blog.

I love how she clear emboss on kraft card sheet. I want to make a girly and elegant card for a girly friend. This one is perfect. I love this color combo and might make another one soon. Hope you like it too.

Stamp: Delightful Dahlia

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

Card Patterns109+Color Cue 13

Hi everyone, feel creative today? It's still a rainy day today but not affect my mood to craft. Hope you are inspired to spend sometime in your craft room as well. This card is for few challenges Card Patterns Sketch 109 and Color Cue 13 Also Hero Arts April Theme: Masculine (I hope this boy card is MAN enough to be qualify.)

I made this card for a dear friends twin boys birthday in June. I know it's bit early. Since their birthday is very close to my due day and I don't want to wait until the last minute to rush a card. Definitely son;t want to miss the chance to celebrate. I come up with a plan to finish all the birthday cards for 2011 when I still can (like now.) so I can focus on the baby in Summer. (Genius~) I am so glad June is done and more birthday cards to come.

CASE Study#33

Happy Monday. It's was a short weekend since my DH worked on Saturday and been sick on Sunday. Also a sleepless night, I had hard time waking up this morning. I hope the fatigue not come back so soon since there are still so many cards I want to make.

Have a card to share with you. I made this one for 2 challenges, CASE Study#33 and Color Throwdown#135 (I know I pass the CTD's deadline but I make this card base on their color combo. I decide to post and link-up as usual.)

The sentiments are from the same set CL129 Anytime Messages from Hero Arts. Pattern paper is The Thrift Shop from October Afternoon. I punched few scallop circles and ink up the edges with distress ink. Stack them up, punch a hole in the center and sew the button with twine on it. Crumble each of the petals and smooth out.
