Wedding cards

Got my Waltzing Mouse stamps in the mail box yesterday. Can't wait to play with them. I use Very Vintages Labels NO10 pair up with Spellbinders Label 10 dies and sentiment from Hero Arts AR141 Cherish set to make 2 wedding cards for Paper Crafts April 2011 Gallery Challenge.

First one (Sorry for a poor quality photo. The light is not my friend today. Hard to get a clear shoot.) I run a light pink card base through a Sizzix emboss folder. Adhere doily and black ribbon. Adhere die-cut black label. Die-cut white scallop circle, stamp sentiment and clear emboss. Stamp swirl and adhere on card with foam tape. Adhere gems.Pink and black what a beautiful color combo.

Second one, use the same card base and doily. Tie on ribbon. Stamp frame and sentiment on cardstock, die-cut and adhere on card with foam tape. Adhere roses.
Love the soft tune on this card. Which one do you like?

It a very fun technique and hope you give it a try.

After few raining and cold day, I really need some spring spirit. After I watch the video, I pull out all my spring color cardstock and S5135 Outline Flowers stamp from Hero Arts. This stamp pop in my head when I watch the video and it perfect for this technique. Here is my card. Hope you can feel the spring in this card like I do.
I ink up the whole stamp with VersaMark ink and stamp on Lemon tart cardstock. Apply white embossing powder, heat set and adhere on rustic cream card base. Color the small flowers with marker. Stamp the flowers again on pattern paper as the video showed, also white emboss. Cut out , adhere on card, Pop off the biggest one with foam tape. Add glossy accent in the center and add gems.

Close up. You can see the Glossy accent I ass in the center of the green glowers.

Card Patterns109+Color Cue 13

Hi everyone, feel creative today? It's still a rainy day today but not affect my mood to craft. Hope you are inspired to spend sometime in your craft room as well. This card is for few challenges Card Patterns Sketch 109 and Color Cue 13 Also Hero Arts April Theme: Masculine (I hope this boy card is MAN enough to be qualify.)

I made this card for a dear friends twin boys birthday in June. I know it's bit early. Since their birthday is very close to my due day and I don't want to wait until the last minute to rush a card. Definitely son;t want to miss the chance to celebrate. I come up with a plan to finish all the birthday cards for 2011 when I still can (like now.) so I can focus on the baby in Summer. (Genius~) I am so glad June is done and more birthday cards to come.

Supplies:
Stamp: CL318 Galaxy of stars, CL340 Birthday saying- Hero Arts
