Birthday Hero Arts cards

I have few kids birthday cards to make and happen to fit Hero Arts March theme: Birthday. There is still time and you have until midnight PST tonight to enter the contest.

First one is for a little girl I use the sketch from Card Patterns Sketch 108. Contest close midnight EST tomorrow. Play along. Guess what's her favorite color? Finally get this [CL514 Life of the Party Birthday]stamp from Hero Arts which I've been drooling since I first saw it. I have to play with it right away.
I made a 4x 5 1/2" kraft card base. Trim pattern paper and adhere. Tie on ribbon. Die cut Lacey circle from white cardstock and circle from pattern paper. Mat and adhere on card. Die-cut small circle. Stamped starts and ice cream cone and ink up the edge.
Color the cone with Pink Star Gelly Roll pen. Stamped the cone again on white cardstock and stamp polka dot background then ink the edge. Cut out and pop off with foam tape. Die-cut tag and stamp sentiment 3 times. Tie tag and button on card with brown baker's twine.

2nd and 3rd are a card set for boys using the same Life of the Party Birthday set. The ice cream cone is just too cute so I have to make another card with it. Might be more coming in the future.
I made an A2 card base. Die cut label 8 from pattern paper and adhere on card. Trim trips from white cardstock. Stamp Large Plain Pattern and tags. Punch the edge from card stock, adhere with the stamped strip and adhere on card.

Stamp Ice cream cone on white cardstock and emboss. Cut out color the edge and cone. Tie on twine and pop off with foam tape.

Here is the inside look.

Another photo. I can see the ice-cream smile to me.SO cute~

Moxie birthday card

Hi Happy Tuesday. How is everyone? We are doing good. My baby and I, we reach the 28 week mark and official enter the third trimester. It's full of surprise everyday and my new hubby is to discover his new tricks everyday. Thank you all so kind and sweet to leave me a comment and send your thoughts to me. I am very appreciated.

Today I have a birthday card to share. I saw this picture on Moxie Fab World . Wow, the photo is too pretty and inspired me to make this card. I love the soft color and never know pink and blue will go so well together. I know this will be perfect for a dear friend.  I am so happy to be able to play with my blending tool with colors again. It's been too long since the last time I use this technique.
Here is my card. To create the background, I Stamped and white embossed the Old Letter Writing on white cardstock. I then stamped the Elegant Weed in black and let it dry overnight. I used 4 different distress ink and the blending tool to add colors. Tie on ribbon and adhere on black card base.
I die cut the label and hand trim the black frame. Stamped the sentiment in black and the Elegant Weed in Antique Linen+Tea Dye and ink up the edge. Pop off on card with foam tape.

I also made a greeting message for inside the card. I used the same stamp and color to echo the sentiment label on the card front.

Supplies:
Stamp: (S4878 Old Letter Writing, CG185 Elegant Weeds, CL371 Essential Messages) Hero Arts
Dye ink: (Spun Sugar, Tumbled Glass, Antique Linen, Tea Dye) Ranger
Pigment ink: (Midnight black) Tsukineko
Watermark ink; White embossing powder
Die: (Label 4) Spellbinders
Ribbon

Thank for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.
