Make It Monday #63: Glitter Die Cuts

This is my 2nd post today. I made this one last night for Make It Monday #63: Glitter Die Cuts.
Fun. fun. fun. Glitters really gives a big impact to the card and I try to keep the design simple to let the glitter shine.

I used Turning a New Leaf die with glitter and Edgers #1. I also die cut the flowers using velum from Beautiful Blooms II #3 die. Sentiment from Signature Greetings.

A little update of life. I have been busy for few weeks getting ready to travel. My son and I are going to take a 6 weeks vacation back to Taiwan to visit my parents and we are leaving TONIGHT. I won't be able to play any of the challenge but will continuing share some cards here. Finger crossed he will be good during the 13 hours flight.

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day.

PTI April 2012 Blog hop

Welcome to Papertrey Ink April 2012 Blog Hop. Here is photo for the inspiration challenge.
Here is my card. I am inspired by the beautiful color of the fabric.

I create the background by stamping the butterfly from Pretty Peonies set , flower from Beautiful Blooms set and leaves from Turning a New Leave set. I stamp the frame and sentiment on scratch paper , cut out and pop off with foam tape. Also I stamp the solid peony then I color and blend with markers. Love the water color look of the peony.
All the inks and markers are MOMENTO.

Close look of the peony.

Thanks for looking. I would love to hear what you think of the peony.

Hero Arts Velveteen stamping

Hi everyone, I made this card using Velveteen stamping technique again. I can't stop because it's jsut too pretty.

This time I stamp the vine background with Papertrey Ink Fresh snow ink on white card stock.
I stamp the flowers and leaves from Hero Arts Sweet threads stamp set.  Sentiment and butterflies from Hooray set using Hero Arts Shadow inks: Soft Yellow, Pool mid-tone , Cup O' Joe mid-tone and Wet Cement mid-tone.

First one is for a sweet little girl. Guess what's her favorite color!! I love the new mid-tone Hero Arts Shadow inks. I stamp the hearts with Bubble Gum shadow ink and Barn Door distress ink. Also stamp butterflies ans sentiment with Wet Cement shadow ink. (One of my favorite.) The color is very very beautiful.

This one I stamp starts Field Greens, Green Hills and Wet Cement. (Of course.) Hope you can see the background peeking through the stamped starts. It's fun to see it in person but hard to photo it clearly. Also My new favorite sentiment stamp set: Year Round Sentiments. I use sorts of hearts and starts from this set.
