Hero Arts March 2012 Challenge is all about Spring. This month's theme is [ Fabulous Flowers]. I can't wait to dig out all my flower and create something "spring". Also, make sure you check out Shari's Velveteen technique Video Here. It's so pretty and fun technique. You got to give it a try.
Today I have a birthday card set to share with you using Velveteen stamping. I start from my left over scratch cards stamped with Life of the Party Words background stamp with Wheat pigment ink.
First one is for a sweet little girl. Guess what's her favorite color!! I love the new mid-tone Hero Arts Shadow inks. I stamp the hearts with Bubble Gum shadow ink and Barn Door distress ink. Also stamp butterflies ans sentiment with Wet Cement shadow ink. (One of my favorite.) The color is very very beautiful.
This one I stamp starts Field Greens, Green Hills and Wet Cement. (Of course.) Hope you can see the background peeking through the stamped starts. It's fun to see it in person but hard to photo it clearly. Also My new favorite sentiment stamp set: Year Round Sentiments. I use sorts of hearts and starts from this set.
