Moxie birthday card

Hi Happy Tuesday. How is everyone? We are doing good. My baby and I, we reach the 28 week mark and official enter the third trimester. It's full of surprise everyday and my new hubby is to discover his new tricks everyday. Thank you all so kind and sweet to leave me a comment and send your thoughts to me. I am very appreciated.

Today I have a birthday card to share. I saw this picture on Moxie Fab World . Wow, the photo is too pretty and inspired me to make this card. I love the soft color and never know pink and blue will go so well together. I know this will be perfect for a dear friend.  I am so happy to be able to play with my blending tool with colors again. It's been too long since the last time I use this technique.
Here is my card. To create the background, I Stamped and white embossed the Old Letter Writing on white cardstock. I then stamped the Elegant Weed in black and let it dry overnight. I used 4 different distress ink and the blending tool to add colors. Tie on ribbon and adhere on black card base.
I die cut the label and hand trim the black frame. Stamped the sentiment in black and the Elegant Weed in Antique Linen+Tea Dye and ink up the edge. Pop off on card with foam tape.

I also made a greeting message for inside the card. I used the same stamp and color to echo the sentiment label on the card front.

Supplies:
Stamp: (S4878 Old Letter Writing, CG185 Elegant Weeds, CL371 Essential Messages) Hero Arts
Dye ink: (Spun Sugar, Tumbled Glass, Antique Linen, Tea Dye) Ranger
Pigment ink: (Midnight black) Tsukineko
Watermark ink; White embossing powder
Die: (Label 4) Spellbinders
Ribbon

Thank for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.

Tuesday trigger: Halt! It'a a Halter!

Made this card for Moxie Fab world Tuesday Trigger: Halt! It's a Halter! Challenge. The print on the dress caught my eyes when I see the picture. I am happy with the final card and it's just what I imagining in my head. Reminds me that Summer is here.
This is also a fun card to make. I ink up the flower really good with watermark ink and KISS it on the Canvas strips with Grey. Stamp on white cardstock and emboss with clear embossing powder. Repeat the red and yellow flowers and they are also clear embossed. Then I apply the black distress ink really heavy on the paper to create the black base. It's really fun and I had a good time playing with this one.

Tuesday trigger: Popsicles

The weather has been really weird and the sun finally comes out. We are doing some gardening today and try to enjoy the late good weather.Do you have weekend plan? Hope you have a nice weekend.

Made two cards for Moxie Fab World Tuesday trigger: Popsicles. There is still time to play and You have until Sunday to link up your creations. Hope you find some time to play along. The color is so vivid and I am inspried how the color blend together.
First one I black emboss the leave and use a mask when I apply Broken china, Mustard seed and Dried Marigold with blending tool. Wow, the color really pop out and pretty. Because the focal imagine is so pretty, I try to keep the card simple to really show it. Embellish with a folded yellow flower and gem. Stamp the sentiment. I am happy with it.
Second one, I die cut the scallop rectangle. White emboss the leave and apply the inks. Then adhere on the card base that I stamp the flourish around the Kraft card base with Watermark ink. They are from the same stamp set and they really make a pretty card.
