PTI Make It Monday#2
One of my favorite stamp company Paper Trey Ink is having a new challenge series: Make It Monday. Every Monday there will be a new technique video posted on Nichole's blog or you can follow PTI on face book. You can find all the details on her blog. You could win a free stamp set of your choice. How fun is that.
Here is my take on this weeks technique:Vellum Sentiment strip. You don't want to miss Nicole's video. Her Year of flower Sweet Pea card is so pretty. This really is a good way to add the sentiment on card and make it pop.
The background is from Polka Dot Basic II. Elephant and sentiment from Bitty Baby Blessing set. Die cut the frame using Spellbinder Stander Circle and Big Scallop Circle.

Stamp it! Techniques
Hi everyone
Here I am to share the best issue ever, Stamp it Technique. There are so many talented designers in this issue and the cards just amazing. I absolutely LOVE it. I found so many inspiration and I know you will too. Go get it now if you haven’t and in case it sold out at your local store. You can always buy it on-line Here. Just remember, grab it before it’s out again.
This is my first publication. I remember the day when I received the acceptance notification from Susan. I was jumping up and down and dancing in my craft room. Seeing my card and my name printed in the magazine feels so great. You can find my yellow roses card on P.27. I’ve been taking a long break for the baby. Can’t wait to get back to my craft world and start creating and submit again.
Happy Chinese Rabbit New Year!! I am so looking forward to meet my baby rabbit this Summer.
Hugs,
Nicky

Some exciting news
Hi everyone,
Long LONG time no see. First I want to apologize about my absent without notice. I’ve been taking a break and focus on family. Here I am back to share some exciting news.
First,
[We are expecting!!!!] It’s a boy. We are all very exciting to this new family member. Can’t wait to meet him in person this Summer.
This explains why I disappeared for so long. The first trimester fatigue was killing me and I couldn’t get off the bed at all. I think I spent about 20 hours in bed every day. I can’t tell you how happy I am when I past the first trimester and enter the most comfortable 2nd one.
After entering the 2nd trimester, we kept busy moving the office/craft room out and turned it into the nursery. It was easy since I have so many stuff and with all the re-arrangement.
I just want to say thank you for all your support and I am happy to know that I am missed. I will be back soon to post something about the Blog Candy. Yes, I didn’t forget. It’s sitting in the mailing box and ready to go.
Here I want to share a card I made in three months for a sweet friend’s birthday. I couldn’t decide which color tune I want so I made two. I will enter these two for Hero Arts January contest. My card is inspired by the P.58 I just in love with the neutral color. Play it with different color tune and add a bit of my own twist in them.
I pull out my favorite Dogwood stamp. First I die cut the Lacey Circle and stamp twice with distress ink on the circle. I use my stamp-a-ma-jig to line up with the circle and stamp twice on the card base with watermark ink. Then emboss with white embossing powder. Color the flowers with distress ink. Adhere the circle on the card base.Add glitter glue around the circle.
Stamp:S5362 Dogwood (Hero Arts)
Ink: Antique Linen, Scattered Straw/ Weathered Wood, Stormy Sky (Distress Ink)
Die: Lacey Circle (Spellbinders)
Tool: Stamp A-Ma-Jig
I will be back for another good news.
