This week is all about colors. I put myself all in the color mood and still want to find some time for some sketches. I feel more comfortable playing with sketches than colors which means I need to play more color challenges. :) Can't let the colors beat me!!!
Use Jennifer McGuire's butterfly again. Yes. I love it so much and I just can't stop making them.
I always seek for challenges to push myself more and I am really grateful for all the people who came up with those challenges.Thank you all for the hard work. I am really appreciated.
A card for myself?? Hahaha~~ Happy birthday to me!!!
Made this one for Dawn McVey's Raspberry Suite Color Challenge#19.
I did it. Last time I pass the deadline so this time I put this challenge as priority. I made it.
It's quite a challenge to put 5 colors together. I am glad I have the change to play along. I went through all the entries and they are just so creative.
Thanks Dawn for this wonderful color challenge.
Made this one for Lucy's Challenge- Color, using Pale Pink, Aqua and Kraft. I need to make a soft tune holiday card for a friend. Love the colors that Lucy picked out.
Thanks Lucy for this wonderful challenge.
Made this one for GS#14 . I color the image with markers and finish with some glitter glue. I made this card for some special friends. They are amazing ladies and really make my life colorful. Hope they like it.
Made this one for CPS142. I have lots of birthday cards to made and this sketch just come in handy. This is the first time I try to color a image with pearlescent chalks. I like the soft tune and the little bit shinny. Just a bit , not too much. I hope you can see it in the photo. Somehow Pink and black works very well to me. Black just simply balance out the too girly pink.
I learn how to make the layered butterfly fromJennifer McGuire. So creative and such a unique technique. I would love to try to make a big butterfly using the same technique.
This is my first take. A fish shaker birthday card. I punch out the fishes using Martha Steward Punch from Shrinking paper. It's the same fish you can see beside the circle sentiment. I love the clear bubbles stickers. So cute. Hope you all have a nice weekend.
I will try to make more if I can make it to the deadline Nov. 17th.
Made this one for Hero Arts Glitter Challenge and CPS141 . I use my favorite background stamp. With the sparkling glitter. I am happy with the look. I also use the same design to make lots of birthday cards for my friends and sisters. It's a busy season. Lots of holiday cards and birthday going on. (Including myself's. )
TFL~
Made this one for our daily bread designs Shimmer Challenge. .....simply make a Holiday Card and make it Shimmer!
I want to make some NON tradition color holiday card. I came up with black/ purple (my new favorite color) and my old time favorite brown. I try to brush out a some glitter on the chandelier to make it a bit shabby. I really like the tune on tune color combo. This card is also very good for mass produce. Perfect for holiday ~HUH~?! Hope you like it. TFL~
You ca still paly along the deadline is November 15th at 8 PM EST.
Made this one for 2 Sketches 4 You Kazans Sketch 39.This week is involved lots of glitters. This card combines lot my favorite: Favorite color tune, favorite color, favorite shimmery paper, favorite background stamp.....
This not a traditional holiday color and I want to give a bit different for my friends.
I stamp a little ornament underneath the embossed sentiment and I hope you can see it. I like the glitter frame a lot. I used double side type and type around the card then sprinkle glitters on it. It stays pretty well.
TFL!
