Pair up with Michelle Day3

Welcome to Day 3 pair up with Michelle post. Today, we use CL238 Owl-Christmas stamp set. I am using the One sheet box Template from Split Coast Stampers. I made this bag use a 8x11" paper with no cutting and tape. Only scoring. Amazing, right? The moment I finish my bag I am in love with it. You got to give it a try. Alright, enough rumbling.

Day 3 CL238 Owl Christmas. Here is my take.
Make the box as instruction. Stamp the S5034 Flourish background with watermark ink and emboss with Winter Wonderland embossing powder. (There is a bit glitter in the powder. It's really beautiful in person and hope you can see in the picture.)
Die cut red and white circle. Stamp the sentiment and stamp the "flowers" in a row. Adhere together and adhere on front. Add embellishment and tie on ribbon. This is a project good for mass-product.

TFL~ I will be back later for my 2nd post today to announce the new blog candy.

I am telling you. I am in love with this quick and easy bag. You can save tune of time to embellish it and easy for mass product.

Day2 CL239 Owl-ween. Here is my take. I use the bag and spider and use the sentiment from CL353 Happy Halloween.
My BIG monster bag with his little one on the side. (Hope you can get my joke.) I stamp the sentiment with the hand-traced with Spellbinders inverted scalloped square to create a mouth. a spider nose and blacked jiggle eyes. It makes me smile when I see it and hopefully it gives you some smile as well.

Pair up with Michelle Day1

Morning. Today is the Day1 for my Pair up Challenge with Michelle. For 5 days posting. From Day1- Day4 we will use the same stamp set to create a card or project and day 5 we have a surprise for you.

Day1 CL265 Adorable Baby Girl ,Here is my take
I choose to make a gift bag instead a card. Did I tell you I am into the bags recently. Brown and  pink is one of my favorite color combo. I also combine my favorite kraft. I emboss the tree with white embossing powder and color the heart with glitter pen. Under the sentiment, I stamp the flower with light pink. Isn't this cute for a shower party favor?

Fall Project

Today is the last day of Hero Arts September Challenge first round. I have a card and a gift box to share. I am into making boxes/tag/gift card holder recently. Hopefully I will have more to show you soon.

First, is the  gift box. I really like this rdesign. I found this Gable Box tutorial Here on Splitcoast Stamper's blog. It's easy to follow and really fun. Hope you will give it a try.
YES! My new Hero Arts CL457 Real Leaves stamp set arrived yesterday. I have to play with it. It's so beautiful and the first time I saw it I knew I have to have one.  Here it is!!
I find it easier to stamp before you cut out all the score line. Follow the instruction to score lines on a 8x11 kraft cardstock. I stamp the leaves with different pigment ink and emboss with clear embossing powder. Stamp the S5447 Large Plain Pattern background with white ink. Cut out and add adhere as instruction to assemble the box. Stamp another leave on scrap paper. Cut out and distress the edge with distress ink.
Die cut tag and stamp the sentiment. For the leave, I stamp it once on scrap paper before I stamp on the tag to have a lighter color. Tie on ribbon , attach tag and adhere leave with glue dot. What a beautiful gift box!

Second is a card made with sketch from Waltzing Mouse Sketch Challenge WMSC#14 and enter this one for wee Memories Challenge#22 Fall into Autumn.
I use the real leave set to create the background. For the background I am inspired by Talented Joy's card here.

I pull out my distress inks and dab them on my craft sheet. (LOVE it. It makes this coloring skill so easy.) Mix the color. Dip the maple leave stamp into the color pool and stamp on white cardstock. Repeat and change stamps. Finally, rub the card with Tea Dye and Antique Linen and Bundled Sage. Distress the edge before adhere on card base. Trim a pattern paper panel and adhere on the left side. Adhere ribbon. Hand sew the buttons with twine. Stamp the leave again on scrap paper. Stamp sentiment and cut out. Pop off with foam tape.
