Non-tradition Xmas color

I made this card using Non-tradition Xmas color inspired by PDCC50. Even though I pass the deadline, I still want to give credit to PDCC team for coming up such a great color combo. Also enter this one to Hero Arts October Challenge: Holiday.  I use sketch from 2S4Y Kazans Sketch63.

Here is my take on the challenges.

2S4Y+Embellish2

Made this one for 2S4Y Kazan's Sketch53 and my take 2 for Embellish Butterflies challenge
Can you see my PTI goodies. They came in Ｍonday and I am so excited. The impression plate,Linen &Cavas, is so amazing and now I want them all.
I use the Linen side on green cardstock and the canvas side on black cardstock.Oh, boy~ I can't put them down. I use one of the technique from Nicole to color the flower with cotton swabs. Love this!!

2S4Y Laura's Sketch52

 Made these two for 2S4Y Laura's Sketch52. I made the blue one first and not fall for it and try to make a CAS version. I came up with the pink one which I like more. I guess sometimes less is more. What do you think? Which one do you like better?

Embellish Dimension

 Made this one for Embellish Dimension color Challenge and 2S4Y Laura's Sketch51. I had so much fun playing with my Ranger Distress ink and my new favorite stamp: Dogwood from Hero Arts. You are probably tired of me saying this.
The weather is amazing today and I am heading out to do some shopping. Since it's Friday, I am making my hubby's favorite green curry.

Instructions:

·         Make A2 Card base, white emboss the flourish background

·         Die cup label 8, white emboss dogwood, color with blending tool

·         Stamp friend definition, wipe clean with baby wipe, adhere on card

·         Die cut scallop circle, stamp sentiment, Pop off on card front with foam tape

·         Tie ribbon

Caarvarks monochromatic Challenge Take2

This is my second take on Caarvarks monochromatic Challenge and using 2S4Y Laura's Sketch50 Again.
I usually use bright color and light color. Somehow I mood is grey and I even made two cards out of it.

The stamps are both from Hero Arts. They are so pretty and I got intimidated to work with them. I am glad I finally work something out and hopeful I can more cards using these in the future.

I stamp stencil art on grey cardstock using VersaMark on half of the card and weather wood distress ink on the other half to form the background. Dies cut grey cardstock out from label 8 and cut half. Stamp Speckled Ornament using VersaMark and clear emboss. Punch edge out and put double side type along the edge and sprinkle glitter generously to cover. Mount everything on card base. Put Glossy Accents here and there and also glue dew drops.

2S4Y Laura's Sketch50

Made this one for 2S4Y Laura's Sketch 50 and for CARD's Challenge using woodgrain. I know it's a bit early for a father's day. Whenever I see the wood grain, I just can't help think about a masculine card and a Father's day card. I try to combine the Hero Arts stamp and my CB Emboss folder. Laura's sketch is perfect for my project.

Emboss half of the card using Cuttlebug Distressed strip folder and stamp Woodgrain using Vintage photo distress ink on another half. Die cut label 8 out of a white cardstock and cut half and die cut out alphabet DAD. Using three inks here and there on the the tree and stamp. Punch out edge out of brown and kraft cardstock. Assemble and tide a ribbon.

2S4Y take3

This is my 3rd card for this weeks 2S4Y Kazan's Sketch50. I like lighter and brighter color more. This card makes me happy. I went to a sales event at a local stamp store on Friday and saw this black polka dot frame. I love it and can't wait to try it. I had this button flower idea in my head when I woke up this morning and can't wait to see it happen on a card. I am happy with the result. Hope this card makes you happy too.

Instructions:

1.Die cut black polka dots frame using spellbinders rectangle and scallop rectangle

2.Stamp Friend definition and stem on white card stock,

3. Mount the frame using foam type on and Glue buttons to form the flower

4.Assemble black loop edger and pink ribbon and flower frame.
