Halloween Spinner card

I have a quick post today. I am inspired by Online Card Class - Wild Card.
I made this spinner card to decorate the candy for my kids. They love interactive cards and I try to make different theme projects to let them play with.  This is a quick easy one. I like to color whole bunch of stamped images all at once and always have left overs. (My kids color with me on our kitchen table. This is one of our favorite quiet activities.)

I am using one of my left over ghost from Lawn Fawn booyah stamp set and Spellbinders circle dies. With a pattern paper. This is a fun, quick project.

 See the ghost spin.

PTI MIM#262 Pumpkin Stamps 3 Ways

I have 3 cards to share today. I made for PTI MIM#262 Pumpkin Stamps 3 Ways. I love how Ashley's unique way to use one pumpkin stamp to create cards in 3 different style.

I am using Polka Dot Parade#8.
Card 1: Traditional way, Traditional fall color and style.
I trim 2pcs pattern paper from Classic Kraft Gingham pattern paper and adhere on a kraft card base. I ink the pumpkin in Summer Sunrise and sponge the edge with Orange Zest to create a bit shadow on the pumpkin and stamp on die cut white circle. I stamp the sentiment and pumpkin stem in Dark Chocolate ink. I adhere the circle on die cut Orange Zest scallop circle and adhere it on card front.

Card 2: Unique way to use pumpkin stamp
I love how she use the pumpkins as petals to create a flower.  So super clever and I have to give it a try.
I adhere a piece pattern vellum on a Sweet Blush card base. I stamp the pumpkin 5 times on white card stock in Sweet Blush.Cut them out and adhere on card front. I tie a sweet blush button with twine and adhere in the flower center. I stamp the sentiment from Think Big Favorites #1 mini stamp set in Dark Chocolate. I cut the edge and adhere in the right corner. I add glitter  White Blizzard NUVO Crystal Drop.

Card 3: Trendy
I use the soft color tone inks and the die cut frame.
I create the background from Wreath for All Seasons stamp set in Fresh Snow and Orange Zest ink on kraft card base. I adhere a die cut Orange Zest stitch rectangle on card. I stamp 3 pumpkins in Sweet Blush, Lemon Tart and Spring Moss. Stamp the smile in True Black and the stem in Smokey Shadow. Cut out and pop on card front with foam tape. I stamp the sentiment in Dar Chocolate ink on white card strip and adhere on card front.
I add Irresistible on the eyes.

SSS Wednesday+Monday Challenge

I am so looking forward to Halloween.  I know it a month away but I am so ready to pull out all my Halloween stamps and dies to play with.

I made this project combine 2 Simon Says Stamp challenges: Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge : Gift it and Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Powder Powder

This is the gift set I made for my kids teachers. Candy and lip balm. I use Papertrey Ink Halloween Treats&Sweets stamp set.

1)For the lip balm, instead pop it out of the clear package,  I cut it out with scissor and keep it in the original container.

2) I trim a 8"x3 1/8 " black card stock and fold in half and die cut one side with circle die to create the window. 3) I clear emboss the eyes and nose and white emboss the sentiment and stitched smile. 4) Place the lip balm through the window and adhere with strong double side tape.
5)For the candy, I stamp the same stamp in black ink on wax gift bag. Put candies in and sign my kids name in the back.
I have more Halloween cards and project to share.

Classic Tea Flower Card

Hi, I made a card using Hero Arts Classic Tea Flower Stamp (One of my favorite.) for 5 challenges. Click each links to see the theme and hope you can play along.

I am inspired by the die cut frame from Asa's Card. I enter this card for Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Anything goes and Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #373.

Here is my card. I stamp the Beautiful Classic Tea Flower on white CS. Die cut and mount on a piece of die cut white foam base. I really want to use a green foam but I only have white on hand so I color it edge with my Copic. I love how it turned out. A little big of green peeking out of the edge. I adhere a piece of green card stock slightly bigger than the frame to support the whole center piece.

Close up of the green foam and the beautiful Classic Tea Flower stamp.

SSS Monday: It's A Stitch up

Happy Wednesday, I made a card for SSS Monday Challenge : It's A Stitch up. When I saw the challenge name, it reminds me this stamp set and I really want to play with it.

I am using Hero Arts CL397 Sew Original and CL429 Simple Handmade. I stamped the stitch hearts to create the top and bottom border with white ink on Kraft CS. Then I stamped the spools and cute buttons in white and I color them with grey Copic marker to make a frame around the images. Adhere on a piece of grey card base.

I gold emboss the scissor, cut it out and foam pop on card front.

I stitch the bottom edge of the card base with twine. Love how it turn out. I am not very good with sewing and I am glad I jump into and did the stitch.

Hi I made this card for 2 challenges. Click the link to check out the detail on their blogs. Today is the last day to enter these August challenges but the best part is: a new one is coming up. I can't wait. Hope you can fine some time to play along.

Here is my card. I used Hero Arts Layering hibiscus stamp set. I learn this coloring technique from Marika Rahtu of Me and Minime Crafting. Her coloring skill just took my breath away. So pretty. I LOVE her card.

I am in love with this coloring technique. I had a lot of fun and I hope you are inspired to try it.

I chose only use 2 layers. I stamped the first layer with Distress ink Broken China on water color paper. Use brush and water to soften the stamped image. when it still wet I stamp the 2nd layer with Distress ink Stormy Sky then let dry. Stamp the center with black ink.

I also highlight the hibiscus with black color pencil.
I die cut the sentiment from Spellbinders Phrase Set Two with gold paper and another 2 layer of black die cuts. Amount them all together and adhere on card front.

Here is the close up of the gold die cut sentiment.

Eat Cupcake

Who doesn't like cupcake~! :) A cute card for a friend who is passion about baking. She is always learning something new, trying new technique/recipe and more way to decorate her beautiful creations. I want to use a baking related image to represent her. I think this cupcake is just the right one for her. PS:This sentiment is too cute and perfect for the cupcake.

I repeat stamped the sentiment with white ink on craft card stock to create the background and also heat emboss with black embossing powder to create a focal point.

I stamp the cupcake with Memento ink and color with Copic Marker. Cut out and adhesive with foam tape on the front.

 I love the pink sprinkles. Cute ~ cute~ cute~
