OCC Wild Card-Shaker card

Hi there is a storm hitting Seattle. The rain is on and off now and hope it wont cause too much damage and please.....no powder out. please. Stay dry and safe everyone in Seattle.

I made a shaker card for Online Card Classes - Wild Card. Today is the last day. You can still sign up and login t watch the videos anywhere. Only the forum and galleries will be close after today.

Shaker card is one of my favorite interactive card style. You can use different shape(circle, oval, rectangle, square), multiple windows and put lots of different elements to shake around. Sequins are trendy so I have to make one using them.

Here is my Halloween shaker card. I am using Lawn Fawn booyah stamp set. Again. I know. I just love to put costumes on those little ghost.
This is my first try to put 2 windows on a card. It's so much fun. I love the spiders with sequins. I also add a little bit green and purple, just a tiny bit to add some shine.
Close up to see my 3 little ghost hanging out to playing with the spiders.

MFT 2016 Card Design Superstar Card2

My 2nd card Scribble Rose shaker card for  My Favorite Things 2016 Card Design Superstar contest.

The Scribble Roses die is one of my favorite. I decide to make a No-bulk window card. (I am inspired by Jennifer McGuire's video Here)

1)I die cut the window with Die-namics Single Stitch Line Rectangle Frames from white and pink CS. 2)I adhere the pink frame after I finished the window. 3)I stamp the sentiment from Essential Sentiment stamp set. 4) I die cut variety of roses from white CS. 4)I place 3 die cut roses and some silver sequins inside the frame. 5) I die cut the large and medium roses, leave the negative parts in place instead pop them out. 6) Color the negative parts with Copic and adhere them on card front.

**The roses and sequins still move around but not too bulky as normal shaker card.
**I did NOT pop the negative pieces out , color them and put them back in. I cheated. After I run the sandwich through my Big Shot, I tape all the pieces with washi tape to keep them in place before I pop them out. Color them in Copic and adhere with double side tape on card front.

Hi I made 3 cards for  My Favorite Things 2016 Card Design Superstar contest.

I am a new fan of MFT. After I am back to my craft world I found MFT. I am so happy to be a fan and be able to play along this year. MFT store has many good quality stamp and dies. Not to mention they are SUPER cute and most important they get me back to my favorite coloring world. They are so easy to color and die cut. Really really good design.

Here is my 1st card : Bear Birthday Card
1)I use the Die-namics Single Stitch Line Rectangle Frames on 4 different color CS and adhere the frames on white card base. 2)I stamp the birthday bear from Beary Special Birthday on white CS with Memento black ink and color with Copic markers. 3)Cut out the bear and pop it on the card front with foam tape. 4)I white emboss the sentiments on black CS, cut out and adhere on card front.

I try to keep the color of the birthday cake to echo the frame so I decide not to do color blending on the cake.I had a lot of fun coloring my bear and really like how it turn out.

Classic Tea Flower Card

Hi, I made a card using Hero Arts Classic Tea Flower Stamp (One of my favorite.) for 5 challenges. Click each links to see the theme and hope you can play along.

I am inspired by the die cut frame from Asa's Card. I enter this card for Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Anything goes and Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #373.

Here is my card. I stamp the Beautiful Classic Tea Flower on white CS. Die cut and mount on a piece of die cut white foam base. I really want to use a green foam but I only have white on hand so I color it edge with my Copic. I love how it turned out. A little big of green peeking out of the edge. I adhere a piece of green card stock slightly bigger than the frame to support the whole center piece.
