Altenew A Year In Review Inspiration Challenge card 1.

Happy December!!! I am sorry I have been adjust the time and get back to life after my trip back from Taiwan. Holiday season, family get together, gift shopping, holiday party......busy busy. I am glad to finally get some time get some quiet craft time.

I made this card for a dear friend. Her Chinese name is butterfly and when i made a birthday card, I always try to cooperate with the theme. I will enter m card to Altenew A Year In Review Inspiration Challenge

I am inspired by the wedding dress, bouquet. I choose to do a white on white shaker card. Here is my card. 

I ink the  Butterfly emboss folder with Versamark and heat emboss with glitter embossing powder to create the background. I punch hears from silver glitter paper use Martha Steward punch. I white emboss peony from Altenew Beautiful Day stamp set. cut out. adhere on card from. 

Also white emboss sentiment on black card stock.

Another card I made for Altenew November 2016 Inspiration Challenge. The same design but different version from my sister's birthday card.

My one layer card. 1) I stamp the peonies and leaves from Altenew Beautiful Day stamp set with PTI Pale Peony +Berry Sorbet, Lemon Tart+Summer Sunrise and Spring Moss+Simply Chartreuse. 2) Stamp Happy with PTI Blueberry Sky and birthday with True Black both from Altenew Halftone Happy stamp set.

Altenew November 2016 Inspiration Challenge

Happy birthday to my dear sister Waverly. I am so happy I get to celebrate my birthday and hers together in Taiwan. Big thanks to my dear husband for this great birthday present. He volunteered to take care 2 kids so I can have a relax trip back to Taiwan by myself. I can't thank him enough. I love you. You are the best husband in the world.

I made this card for my sister. I am inspired by Altenew November 2016 Inspiration Challenge.

Here is my card. 1) I stamp the peonies and leaves from Altenew Beautiful Day stamp set with PTI Berry Sorbet, Summer Sunrise and Spring Moss. 2) Stamp Happy with PTI Blueberry Sky and birthday with True Black both from Altenew Halftone Happy stamp set. 4) Cover the card base with vellum, white emboss the peonies and Happy.

Altenew + Virginia's View

Altenew November Inspiration Challenge and Virginia's View Challenge#25 :Strips n Plain

Here is my card. I use the color of Altenew challenge and the stripes background from Virginia's view challenge.
After made my first white on white card for Virginia's view challenge. I just can't stop there. I put a little bit twist into another card. 

1)I run the card base through We R Memory Keeper Embossing Folder- Stripe. 2) White emboss flowers on vellum from Altenew Beautiful Day stamp set. 3) Color the back with Copic markers and cut out. 4) White emboss LOVE from Altenew Floral Shadow stamp set on black CS. 5) Adhere the cut out flowers on the black foam panel. 6)Add Silver twine and adhere on card base. 7) Adhere Happy Birthday from Altenew Label Love.

 Close up. I really like the soft color of Copic colored white embossed flowers.

Hi , my 2nd card for Virginia's View Challenge#25: Stripes and Plain

I want to do a white on white card using Altenew Beautiful Day stamp set and Label Love Stamp set. Here is my card.

1) I create the stripe background use We R Memory Keepers embossing folder-Stripe on a white card base. 2) I white emboss the beautiful peonies and leaves from Altenew Beautiful stamp set. 3) Cut out and adhere on card base with glossy accents. 4) Stamp the sentiment with Versafine ink on white CS using Altenew Label Love stamp set. 5) Adhere on card with foam tape. 6) Add sequins

Altenew November Inspiration Challenge

Happy November
I've been sick after helping my son's Chinese School Fall Festival. Finally get my energy back and I am so happy to play with my stamps. I have a lot of project to share.

This one is for Altenew November Inspiration Challenge
I am using my new stamp Altenew Painted Rose stamp set. I am inspired by the color in the photo.

Here is my card. 1) I stamp the roses with Distress ink: Tattered rose, Abandoned coral, Scattered straw and Fossilized amber on white CS. 2) Stamp the sentiment in black and adhere it on a blue A2 car base. 3) I die cut Happy using Altenew Happy die from blue glitter paper and black fun foam. 4) I use glossy accents to adhere them and on the card front.

I will also put this one in Simon Say Stamp Monday Challenge: Shine Bright Like a Diamond.

Altenew October2016 Inspiration Challenge Card 2

Hi , sorry I havent post for a while. I've been working hard for my son's Chinese school's biggest event around Halloween and prepare all the Halloween treats for my kids classes. Are you reay for Trick or treating, I am ready. Today's project is more about Fall.
My daughter loves all the colorful leaves, yellow, orange, pink , red and purple. I am so grateful to our walk to school daily routine. Rain or Shine!  

I have a card made for Altenew October2016 Inspiration Challenge I am so into the Fall color. I am inspired by the olive green in the picture.

I am using my favorite Altenew Beautiful Day stamp set
I choose not to use the outline stamp. I stamp the peony in PTI Simply Chartreuse and Ripe Avocado on white CS. Adhere it on a Ripe Avocado card base. I gold emboss the sentiment on black CS. Adhere on card front.

Altenew October2016 Inspiration Challenge

Happy Sunday. Wish everyone have a good weekend so far. My family is enjoying exciting Seahawk game now and I am here to share a card I made for Altenew October 2016 Inspiration Challenge.

I am inspired by the olive green fall scene from the photo and I am using my favorite Altenew Beautiful Day stamp set. I picked the outline and 2nd layer to create my peonies. I love how distress ink react to water and the shine from golden peal.

1) I stamped the outline in Crushed olive distress ink on water color paper and let it complete dry. 2) I spray gold pearl water on Peeled paint distress ink inked 2nd layer peony stamp and stamp on water color paper. 3) After it's complete dry, I spray more gold pearl water on the whole card and let it dry. 4) I gold emboss the sentiment also from Altenew Beautiful Day stamp set on black card stock. 5)Adhere them on a PTI simply chartreuse card base.

**How to make gold pearl water : 1-2 scope of gold perfect pearl in a water spray bottle. Add water. Done!

10I stamp the peony on white card base in Papertrey ink Soft stone ink and stamp the sentiment in black ink. 2)I stamp the peony in layers on another white card stock using Winter Wisteria Plum Putting and True Black the die cut. 3) Stamp the leaves using Spring Moss and Ripe Avocado 4) Adhere the peony and leaves on card front with foam tape.

Altenew Ultimate Blog Hop, HLS watercolor DT call

I have a card to share today featuring Altenew beautiful day stamp set. I will submit to Altenew Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop and Happy Little Stampers Watercolor DT call

I am so happy to find Altenew after I come back to my craft world. Beautiful Day is the first Altenew floral stamp set I purchased. I've seen so many beautiful creations and I couldn't resist to play with it myself. Altenew gives a really good design of their layering floral stamps. They are simply beautiful by just follow the instruction you can download on their website along with the stamp set you would like to purchase. Also they are great with so many different coloring technique.  Sky the limit.

I had a lot of fun playing with watercolor. Altenew Beautiful Day is one of my favorite stamp set. Here is how I make it.
1) I white emboss the peony from Beautiful day stamp set on watercolor paper. 2) I color the peony with 2 color No.32 Red and No.63 blue of Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor. 3) after its complete dry, I stamp the sentiment from Layered Lily stamp set. 4) I trim off the side a bit and mount it on the blue card base.

Hi, I am here to share my 2nd card made for Altenew September 2016 Inspiration Challenge. I will also put this one into the Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop.

I use Halftone Thanks Stamp set.
1)I cut out green, yellow, purple and blue card stocks and white emboss the sentiment [thanks]. 2)I adhere them on a white card base. 3)Adhere some clear droplets.

I have a quick post tonight. I made a card for celebrating Altenew Ultimate Blog Hop. My inspiration is Virginia View Challenge: "Spray, Mist and Splatter"
The challenge is close but you can click the link above to check out all the beautiful creations. I want to submit this card for Simon Says Wednesday CAS Challenge.

Here is my card. This is a quick and easy card. I white emboss the beautiful flower from Altenew Beautiful stamp set and spray with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist: Spring Violet and Moonlight. Add few sequins to touch up.

Altenew September 2016 Challenge

I am here to share a card I made for Altenew September 2016 Inspiration Challenge.

I am inspired by the color of the wash tapes in the bowl. I stamped [ thanks] from Halftone Thanks Stamp set with (from top to bottom) Spring Moss, Lemon Tart, Lavender Moon and Aqua Mist inks from Papretrey Ink. Then I adhere some droplets with Glossy Accents. I like all the soft color put together.
